Fishing is a quintessential summer activity, so head over to Laguna Lake to give it a try! Catch and release panfish or even catfish, enjoy a walk around the lake, and then break for lunch on one of the picnic benches. As you’re fishing or walking, you can enjoy the beautiful, colorful ducks that hang out on the water.

One of our very favorite summer activities in Fullerton is visiting the Fullerton Farmers Market . You’ve got produce, craft creations, prepackaged goodies, and hot food from amazing local vendors. The market is open on Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and will run through October. Head over to the downtown plaza on 125 E. Wilshire Avenue to check it out!

There’s something exciting about just walking around downtown, and Fullerton has lots to see and do. You can try amazing restaurants like Crepes Bonaparte and Crawfish Cave ; experience history firsthand at the Fullerton Train Museum and the Chapman Building ; or just relax outside Rialto Cafe and people-watch as you sip on a cold brew. 

This summer in Orange County, the OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema Film Series are back! From June 18 to September 10, there will be 10 free concerts and 13 free movie showings. The concerts will be on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m., with the music beginning at 6:00 p.m. The movie nights will be on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., with the movie beginning at sundown.
